The trial of a police constable who is charged with corruption is scheduled to continue on April 17 in the St. Elizabeth Parish Court.
The part-heard case, which is being held in camera to protect the witness, was adjourned on Tuesday in Balaclava.
Constable Lavern Hendricks has also been charged with perverting the course of justice.
The case arose out of an incident in which a 26-year-old woman alleged that she was sexually assaulted and her bank card stolen by a policeman during a routine police operation.
It was reported that Constable Hendricks was the first responder on the scene.
Investigators allege that she took steps to frustrate the investigation and offered money to the complainant to drop the case.
The other cop in the matter, Constable Alwayne Hill, is before the Home Circuit Court on charges including grievous sexual assault, corruptly soliciting, simple larceny and forcible abduction.
