Tropical Depression number 16 that has been influencing weather conditions here in Jamaica has been upgraded to a Tropical Storm.
It is now Tropical Storm Nicole.
Nicole is on a projected path that will see it churning close to Eastern states in the US.
Nicole is expected to be absorbed by a stalled frontal boundary while tracking near the East Coast.
