Radio Jamaica News has been informed that one of two men fatally shot during a reported confrontation with members of the security forces in Rose Heights, St. James on Monday afternoon, was wanted in the parish.
The men's identities have not yet been released.
Two illegal guns were seized in the operation.
Reports of that lawmen went into the community about 2 o'clock when they came under fire.
The fire was returned and two men were later found with gunshot wounds. They were pronounced dead at hospital.
