Two women died this morning when the bus in which they were travelling overturned on the Berkshire main road in Westmoreland.
They are 31-year-old Yasmin Nekisha Kerr and Mellissa Ricketts, both of Dunbie in Westmoreland.
Reports are that sometime after 6 o'clock the Toyota Coaster bus, carrying 25 passengers, developed mechanical problems and overturned, falling over a precipice.
Radio Jamaica News was informed that several people were injured and taken to hospital.
One of Miss Kerr's relatives said the woman was on her way to work in Montego Bay when the crash occurred.
