Tributes have come in following the death of President and Chief Executive Officer of Supreme Ventures Limited, Brian George.
George,59 died in hospital this morning due to heart failure.
Prime Minister Andrew Holness says George made a significant contribution to the development of Jamaica's economy and the private sector.
In a statement, he said George's legacy will be cherished by all who he touched and impacted with his selflessness and dedication to Jamaica.
Minister for Sport, Olivia "Babsy" Grange described George's passing as a major blow to Jamaica.
Contributions from lottery companies have been used to fund sports development, early childhood education, health, arts and culture.
Meanwhile,Chief Executive Officer of the RJR Communications Group, Gary Allen, also expressed regret at the passing of George.
