New York police are continuing to search for a suspect after the head of US insurance company UnitedHealthcare was shot and killed in what they have called a targeted attack.
Brian Thompson was shot in the back and leg on Wednesday outside the Hilton hotel in Midtown Manhattan.
Investigators say the words "deny," "defend," and "depose" were written on the shell casings recovered at the scene of the attack.
Police are using facial recognition technology and a discarded phone to identify and track down the suspect.
