A Westmoreland bike taxi operator accused of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl has been charged.
Omar Myrie, 29, was charged with forcible abduction and rape.
The police say about 3:30 p.m. on January 20, the teenaged girl was a pillion rider on Mr. Myrie's bike taxi while in Race Course district in Grange Hill.
It's reported that Mr. Myrie took the girl to his home where he sexually assaulted her.
A report was made to the police and Mr. Myrie was taken into custody on Wednesday and charged after being questioned.
