The Grenada Tourism Authority says it expects Air Canada to double its flights from two to four weekly when the airline resumes services to the island on October 26.
The authority says the nonstop flights will operate on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
Grenada's Consul General to Canada, Dawne Francois, says the return of direct flights to Grenada by Air Canada is a positive development for air transport relations between the countries.
Grenada Tourism Authority's chief executive officer, Petra Roach, said the Canadian market is important to Grenada, and the Authority will capitalise on the increased seating.
