Bermuda government planning new legislation to fight cyber attacks

Seven months after the Bermuda government came under a severe cyber attack, National Security Minister, Michael Weeks says new legislation is being planned to ensure the island's ability to deal with future attacks will be greatly enhanced.

The attacks last September, crippled several government services with departments affected for weeks.

The government said the Cybersecurity Bill, which has already been drafted, is to go before Parliament this year.
