Cuba lifts ban on Mexico flights

The Cuban government has lifted a ban on Mexico flights.

Cuba suspended flights to Mexico last month in an effort to prevent the H1N1 virus from reaching its shores.

So far the flu has infected over 4,000 people in Mexico.

But a statement from the Ministry of Public Health says the threat of the flu has eased and flights between the two countries will resume next Monday.

So far there have been four confirmed cases in Havana.
