Prime Minister of Dominica Roosevelt Skerrit says the government will undertake a further review of the island's minimum wage and would also be moving towards reducing corporation taxes this year.
Mr Skerrit says their revenues are doing much better in this financial year so far than they did in the previous financial year, which is a sign that money is being spent in the economy.
And the authorities have observed a rise in corporate tax in Dominica, which is why, in 2025, they plan to address the corporate tax rate and reduce it from the current 25 per cent.
The goal is to allow more money to remain in the private sector, encouraging further investment and expanding the country's tax base.
