Haiti reports drop in expulsion of nationals from Dominican Republic

Haiti has welcomed a reduction in the expulsion of Haitians residing illegally in the Dominican Republic, even as the Spanish-speaking country has "categorically denied" that the number of 

Repatriations had been reduced at the request of the Haitian government or international pressure.

Haiti's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dominique Dupuy, says the reduction in expulsions is a result of the government's efforts and solidarity with international allies.
