Historic Bridgetown and its Garrison were officially inscribed as Barbados’s first UNESCO World Heritage Property.
the Inscription Certificate was presented to to Prime Minister Freundel Stuart by UNESCO Director-General, Irina Bokova.
In his address at the Inscription Ceremony, Prime Minister Stuart urged Barbadians to embrace, treasure and preserve the UNESCO World Heritage Property.
