Royal Cayman Islands Police Service welcomes Robert Atkin as its first assistant commissioner

The Police Service Commission has appointed a former officer from London's Metropolitan Police Service to a new leadership job in the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service.

He is Robert Atkin, the territory's first assistant commissioner of police—a new rank immediately below the position of deputy commissioner currently held by Anthony Ennis.

Mr Atkin began his policing career with the Metropolitan Police Service in 1990.
