The Argyle International Airport in St Vincent & the Grenadines has denied photographs being circulated on social media, showing holes on the runway at the international facility that was opened in 2017.
The airport is the country's main international airport, replacing the smaller E.T. Joshua Airport.
In a statement, the AIA Inc. said it wanted to inform the public that the photos do not reflect the current condition of the runway.
And the AIA Inc remains committed to the highest standards of safety and operational excellence, and we encourage the public to rely on official sources for accurate information.
