Yacht belonging to Russian billionaire saves divers

9 divers who got into trouble when their boat was wrecked by strong waves in the Caribbean were saved by the crew of a yacht belonging to Russian billionaire Suleiman Kerimov.

The divers were reportedly on their way from the Mexican island of Cozumel to the port of Playa del Carmen.

Their boat started to break up due to strong waves and they sent out an SOS signal.

It was received by Kerimov’s ICE yacht, which was sailing nearby.

The divers were reportedly discovered two hours later some 16 miles away from the site from where their boat sunk.

Kerimov, is listed as number 118 on Forbes' list of the World’s Billionaires, with an estimated net worth of $7.8 billion.
