Inform apprentice Nicholas Hibbert will be out of the saddle for an indefinite period after being injured during an exercise workout at Caymanas Park on Wednesday morning.
Radio Jamaica Sports was told that Hibbert fell from his mount which also stepped on him.
Jamaica Racing Commission (JRC) chairman Clovis Metcalfe revealed that Hibbert sustained a broken rib on his right side and will remain in the Spanish Town Hospital for the next five or six days.
Hibbert who is currently benefitting from a 7 pound claiming allowance, has so far ridden 10 winners this season.
His most recent win came aboard Ras Emmanuel in last Saturday's opening event.
