Jamaican clubs Portmore United and Arnett Gardens are in different groups for the 2018 edition of the Caribbean Club Championship which commences next month. The defending champions of the Red Stripe Premier League, Arnett Gardens are in Group A which includes W Connection of Trinidad and Tobago, Real Hope of Haiti and Atletico Pantoja of the Dominican Republic.
Portmore United are in Group B which has Central FC of Trinidad and Tobago, Racing FC of Haiti and Atlantico of the Dominican Republic.
The top two teams from each group will advance to the final round of the competition where the winner will qualify for the 2019 CONCACAF Champions League while the runners-up and third place side go to the 2018 CONCACAF League. Portmore United came third in the 2017 edition of the Caribbean Club Championship.
