Former champions Arnett Gardens moved to within a point of league leaders Mount Pleasant following a 2-0 win over the reigning champions at the Tony Spaulding Sports Complex in the Wray & Nephew Jamaica Premier League on Wednesday.
Kimani Arbouine in the 54th and Jaheim Thomas in the 69th, were the scorers for Arnett who moved to 21 points in 3rd place, the same as second place Tivoli Gardens.
Elsewhere, Tivoli Gardens blanked Harbour View 3-0 at the Ashenheim Stadium. Kimarley Smith in the 52nd, Howard Morris in the 62nd and Alton Lewis in the 65th were the scorers for Tivoli.
Dunbeholden made it five wins in their last six with a 2-1 victory over former champions Waterhouse also at the Ashenheim Stadium.
Brian Burkett netted a stoppage time winner. Second from bottom Molynes United had edged 10th placed Montego Bay United 2-1 in the early game at the Tony Spaulding Sports Complex to record their first victory of the campaign.
