Arnett Gardens will be the first Jamaican club in action in the 2018 CFU Club Championship as they will kick off on January 31 in Group ‘A’. The ‘Junglists’ are joined by Real Hope of Haiti, Atletico Pantoja of the Dominican Republic and W-Connection of Trinidad and Tobago in the same group.
Portmore United will play their first game on February 7 in Group ‘B’ where they oppose Racing FC of Haiti, Central FC of Trinidad and Tobago and Atlantico of the Dominican Republic. The top two teams from each group will advance to the final stage of the competition.
The winner of the 2018 Caribbean Club Championship will qualify for the CONCACAF Champions League in 2019 while the runners-up and third place side will go into the 2019 CONCACAF League. The last time a Jamaican club won the Caribbean Club Championship was in 2007 when Harbour View took the title.
