Australia U-21 netball team arrives Tuesday

Australia’s Under-21 netball team is expected to arrive in the island Tuesday for their 3-match test series against the local 3-M Development Squad at the weekend.

The matches will be used to gauge the team's preparedness for next year's World Youth Championship in Glasgow, Scotland.

Senior team players Shantal Slater, Shamera Sterling and Vangelee Williams will bring experience to the Annette Daley coached squad, which lacks international exposure.

The series at the national indoor sports centre starts on Friday and ends on Sunday.
