Blake wins Golden Glove at Gold Cup

Reggae Boyz captain and starting goalkeeper Andre Blake who had to be substituted after sustaining an injury to his right wrist in Wednesday night’s CONCACAF Gold Cup final, was given the Golden Glove Award for being the best goalkeeper of the tournament.

Blake won three Man-of-the-Match awards during the tournament and kept three clean sheets, the most by any keeper during the Gold Cup.

The Philadelphia Union shot-stopper was also named in the team of the tournament as well as left-back Kemar ‘Taxi’ Lawrence and centre-back Jermaine Taylor.
