Bolt All-Stars continue to lead at Nitro Series

The Usain Bolt All-Stars team continues to lead the standing at the inaugural Nitro Athletics Series in Melbourne Australia after another stellar night on Thursday, culminating in the mixed 4x100 metres relay.

With Jamaican Natasha Morrison being the only change to the quartet that won on the opening night, she along with Bolt, Asafa Powell and American Jenna Prandini clocked 40.63 seconds, to finish ahead of China 42.35 seconds and England 42.47 seconds.

The relay victory capped off a good night for Morrison who won the women's 100m in 11.57 seconds, beating Rilley Day of Australia 11.71 seconds and Zoe Hobbs of New Zealand 11.79 seconds.

Michael Frater in his season's opener had to settle for fourth in the men's 60m with a time of 6.78 seconds. The event was won by Ze Gao representing China in 6.67 seconds.

Another Jamaican, Christine Day ran the third leg of the mixed 4x400m relay where the Bolt All-Stars team finished sixth in 3:39.25 seconds.
