Bolt confirmed for Ostrava Golden Spike meet

8 time Olympic champion Usain Bolt will be making one of the last 100 metre appearances of his career at the IAAF World Challenge meet in Ostrava on June 28.

This will be Bolt's 9th time racing at the Golden Spike meet and he has won all of his previous 8 races in the Czech City. Bolt has run four 100 metre races, three 200s, and a 300 metre race in Ostrava.

When he runs at this year's edition, it will make the Golden Spike the meet he's competed in most frequently in his career.

Bolt is the eighth 2016 Olympic champion confirmed for the meet with 5000/10,000m winner Mo Farah, 400m champion Wayde Van Niekerk and triple jumper Christian Taylor having also confirmed.

German javelin champion Thomas Rohler, hammer throw winner Anita Wlodarczyk, 800m world record holder David Rudisha and 3000 metre steeplechase
