Bolt raced in a head wind of -2.8 metres per second, but never looked comfortable, never showing his customary separation from the field coming off the curve, and held Zharnal Hughes 20.32 who was second. Julian Forte 20.46 was 3rd and Rasheed Dwyer 21.06 was 6th.
Justin Gatlin who has emerged as Bolt's major threat this season, has a best time this season of 19.68 secs over 200 metres and 9.74 secs (twice) over 100 metres.
Tyson Gay in a negative head wind of -1.7 metres per second won the men's 100 metres in 10.12 secs with Nesta Carter second 10.15 secs and Nickel Ashmeade 5th in 10.28.

Commonwealth Games shot put gold medallist O'Dayne Richards was 4th in the men's shot put, tossing the implement a season's best equalling 21.00 metres on his 6th and final throw behind winner Joe Kovacs of the U.S. 21.67 metres.

The women's sprint hurdles was won by American Shericka Nelvis in 12.65 secs ahead of Jamaican sisters Danielle Williams 3rd in 12.89 and Shermaine 7th 13.19.
