Broadbell among Visa athletes for Paris 2024

Commonwealth Games 110m hurdles champion Rasheed Broadbell has been named among 117 Visa athletes unveiled by the worldwide payment technology partner of the 2024 Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Visa made the announcement on Thursday, describing the 2024 class as the largest and most diverse group of Olympic and Paralympic hopefuls in the programme's history.

In addition to Broadbell, the Team Visa Paris 2024 list also includes world champion noah lyles of the United States and Polish tennis great Iga Swiatek as well as a wide cross section of sporting disciplines.

The athletes from more than 60 markets and 40 sports from around the world attended the recent Team Visa Summit in Paris for a two-day content master class focused on brand immersion and best practices for how to tell their own stories.

Since 2000, the Team Visa Athlete Programme has championed more than 600 Olympic and Paralympic athletes selected based on their athletic achievements, community involvement and alignment with Visa's core values of equality, access, and inclusion.
