Champions Cavalier remain the only unbeaten team in the Wray and Nephew Jamaica Premier League (JPL) after last season's beaten finalists Mt Pleasant FC went down to 10-man Dunbeholden who were registering their second win of the season on Wednesday.
It was Mt Pleasant who were looking to dethrone Mo Bay United at the top of the table that took the lead in minute 22 through Kyle Ming.
However, the host Dunbeholden fired back 13 minutes later with a Neron Barrow equalizer. Four minutes after the break they took the lead courtesy of Nakeel Wright. The lead was further extended in the 69th minute by De-Andre Thomas.
Kimoni Bailey popped up in the 80th minute, putting Mt Pleasant within touching distance.
They looked set to at least earn a point when the home team were reduced to 10-men two minutes later, Chevoy Watson sent off for a second bookable offense, a foul in the box.
However, Shaqueil Bradford missed the ensuing penalty. Mt Pleasant remain in 4th on 12 points, while Dunbeholden moved out of the relegation zone and into 11th on 6 points.
