Chris Gayle has signed an agreement paving the way for a possible return to the West Indies team.
A year-long standoff between the controversial opening batsman and the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) took a significant step towards a resolution after it was announced on Sunday March 25 that Gayle had signed a CARICOM-brokered agreement between the two parties.
Gayle’s signature was reportedly accompanied by a “side letter”, the contents of which were not disclosed.
