Davison leaves Elite Performance to join Dynamic Speed

Radio Jamaica Sports understands that World Under 20 silver medallist Sandrey Davison has left the Elite Performance training group and has joined the Michael Frater-led Dynamic Track Club.

The 21 year old Davison joined the Elite Performance Track Club in 2022 after signing a professional contract with sportswear manufacturing giants Puma.

He was being conditioned at the Jamaica College training base where head coach Reynaldo Walcott guided him to his personal best of 10.19 seconds in the 100 metres last season.

He competed in only four races in 2023, all over 100 metres.

He has so far run one 400 metre event this season, clocking a personal best 50.10 seconds to win his heat at the Queen's Grace Jackson Invitational at the National Stadium.

Davison helped Jamaica take silver in the 4X100 metres at the 2021 World Under 20 Championships in a national Under 20 record.

Frater currently coaches the likes of the second fastest man in history Yohan Blake, World Indoor bronze medallist Ackeem Blake and Olympic sprint relay champion Briana Williams.
