Diver Knight-Wisdom qualifies for his second Olympic Games

Jamaican diver Yona Knight-Wisdom has qualified for this summer’s Tokyo Olympic Games, following his performance at the 2021 Diving World Cup in Japan.

The 25 year old finished 13th overall in the 3 metre springboard as he accumulated 405.20 points.

Knight-Wisdom who won a silver medal for Jamaica at the Pan Am Games in 2019, needed 389 points to book his ticket to Tokyo.

This will be Knight-Wisdom's second appearance at the Olympic Games. In Rio in 2016, Knight-Wisdom finished 14th overall out of 29 competitors in the 1 metre springboard.
