National Under-23 coach Donovan Duckie has blamed the Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) for the underwhelming performance of the team at the recent Olympic Games Qualifiers and the ongoing Pan-American Games in Lima, Peru.

The Jamaicans conceded three goals in nine minutes against Honduras on Monday evening after taking an early second half lead. It’s the latest disappointment for the team who got eliminated at the first stage of Olympic Qualifiers at home.

But Duckie has levelled some of the blame at the feet of the JFF for failing to provide a physical trainer to help with the preparation of the team.

"For over eight months, a physical trainer has only come to our training sessions for three days. This is the worst physically-prepared team I've seen in my entire life," said Duckie.

RJR Sports sought a response from the JFF but calls to the cellphones of president Michael Ricketts and General Secretary Dalton Wint both went unanswered. Following Jamaica's exit from the Olympic qualifiers, Ricketts told RJR Sports that Duckie's contract will be reviewed after the Pan-Am Games.
