The 2018 edition of the CONCACAF Women’s Gold Cup will be held from October 4 to 17 featuring eight teams from across the region. The tournament will involve the United States, Mexico, Canada, two central American sides and three Caribbean qualifiers.
The top three teams from this tournament will qualify for the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup in France, while the 4th place side plays off against the 3rd place team from the CONMEBOL region for a World Cup berth.
The CFU women's qualifiers will commence in the summer where the senior Reggae Girlz will be looking to clinch their 6th Gold Cup appearances. The Reggae Girlz' best finish in the competition was 4th in 2006. The host of this tournament will be announced in March.
