The first round of Jamaica’s Red Stripe Premier League football competition comes to an end on Sunday with Harbour View and Montego Bay United in pole position to top the round.
With no incentive final to play for, both teams are hoping to end the round with victories to put pressure on the other title contenders.
Harbour View has been improving with each passing round, and is now in a two-way tie with Mobay United and will be looking to take maximum points at home against Tivoli Gardens.
Coach Harold Thomas of Harbour View has predicted that the fans will be in for something special from both teams.
Tivoli sits fifth in the standings on 15 points, five behind Harbour View and assistant coach Alvin Shaw is confident the players will lift their performance for what is expected to be a tough contest.
Mobay United will be looking for another three points from the encounter with August town at West Pow Park.
Bottom placed Portmore United will be looking for a second win under coach Calvin Lewis at the expense of Waterhouse to Ferdi Neita Park.
Rivoli United should be confident of securing at least a point at home against Humble Lion while Sporting Central Academy will host Boys Town at Juici Patties Oval.
Second from bottom Arnett Gardens will take on cavalier at Tony Spaulding complex on Monday at 7:00 pm.
