Medium pacer Matthew Forde has replaced the suspended Alzarri Joseph in the West Indies 15-man T20 International squad for the 5-game series against England starting on Saturday.
The squad sees the return of Jamaica's Andre Russell and Trinidad and Tobago's Nicholas Pooran who had both opted out of the recent away series against Sri Lanka.
Meanwhile, captain Powell and Brandon King are the other Jamaicans included in the squad. 32-year-old Trinidadian fast bowler Terrance Hinds has earned a maiden call up to the West Indies T20 squad for the first two games in the series.
The rest of the squad reads: Roston Chase, Matthew Forde, Shimron Hetmyer, Shai Hope, Akeal Hosein, Shamar Joseph, Evin Lewis, Gudakesh Motie, Sherfane Rutherford and Romario Shepherd.
Powell says the Caribbean team will be looking to rebound from their disappointing series loss away to Sri Lanka, when they take on arch rivals England on home turf.
Game one, a day/night affair, takes place at the Kensington Oval in Barbados on Saturday, starting at 3:00 pm Jamaica time.
After the back to back matches at Kensington Oval in Barbados this Saturday and Sunday, the teams will move to St Lucia for the final games on November 14, 16, and 17.
