Captain of Jamaica's National football team, Ricardo Gardener,
came off the bench at half time in the English Premier League to score the only
goal of the game as Bolton Wanderers clipped New Castle at the Reebok Stadium.
Gardner scored in the 47th minute.
Bolton has now moved up to tenth place on 33 points.
Another Reggae Boy, Ricardo Fuller, also came off the bench to inspire Stoke City from 2 goals down in their 2-2 draw with Aston Villa who blew their chances to pressure Arsenal.
In other game, Manchester City slipped to eleventh after a 1-0 defeat away to West Ham who have moved up to seventh.
Hull City continue their slide down the table after going down 2-1 at home to the Blackburn Rovers in a game that saw both teams ending with 10 players.
