Reggae Boyz and veteran international footballer Ricardo Gardner has signed a new one-year contract with English Premier League club, Bolton Wanderers.
Gardner, 32, who saw his opportunities limited by a knee injury last season, admits he was raring to begin his 13th season with the club.
He was being lured by former Bolton boss Sam Allardyce to move to West Ham on a free transfer but the Jamaican and his family did not want to relocate.
Preston, the club where Gardner spent last season on loan, wanted to match Bolton Wanderer's valuation in order to sign him permanently.
Gardner scored 23 goals in his 414 appearances for Bolton since signing in 1998.
