Halledeen boots home three winners in four days on US circuit

Jamaican jockey Robert "Hard Ball" Halledeen has enjoyed his best week on the North American circuit this season, booting home three winners in four days.

Halledeen's latest victory came in the 7th event on Thursday's 8 race card at Thistledown in Ohio.

He guided the 5-2 chance Khalfani to a battling victory in a 3 year old and up claiming contest over 5 and a half furlongs on the dirt for a purse of $12,200.

Halledeen also captured the 6th event on Tuesday night's 8 race programme at Mountaineer in West Virginia to follow up on Monday's victory at Thistledown.

He has now ridden 18 winners from 179 rides to sit 15th among 82 riders at Thistledown, while at Mountaineer he has so far registered three wins from 12 mounts.
