Hampton High were big winners as the ISSA schoolgirl netball season continued on Tuesday. Hampton defeated Lacovia 34-3 in their rural area Under-16 contest.
In other games, St Elizabeth Technical lost 14-17 to Black River High, Green Pond prevailed 26-10 over Muschett, Frome Technical beat Godfrey Stewart 8-4 in a low scoring game, while Montego Bay High stopped Spot Valley 15-11.
In other games Mount Alvernia got the better of Manning’s 22-3, Old Harbour were too good for Thompson Town in a 25-14 victory, it was close between Marymount and Iona with Iona winner 9-8, Dinthill Technical let loose against Charlemont beating them 25-2 and Morant Bay were six goals better than St Thomas Technical with a 13-7 result.
Port Antonio had a 20-3 win over Robert Lightbourne, while Titchfield were the biggest winners on the day hammering Wycliffe Martin 70-4.
In the lone urban area Under-16 game St Hugh's beat Immaculate 31-17. In the rural area Under-19 competition Titchfield completed a comprehensive double over Wycliffe Martin with a 38-7 win.
There was also double success for Morant Bay who beat St Thomas Technical 37-27, Mount Alvernia also got the better of Manning’s 26-3, while Hampton were 46-3 winners over Lacovia. STETHS turned the tables on Black River in a close game, winning 24-23.
