Holmwood Technical athlete Samantha Pryce is now out of hospital and at a private residence in Philadelphia receiving physiotherapy after undergoing surgery on a broken leg sustained at the Penn Relays last Friday.
The 19 year old Pryce who was running her last race for Holmwood Technical, suffered a broken left leg while contesting the opening leg in the Championship of America 4x800m relay.
She underwent surgery on Friday night and was discharged from the hospital on Monday night.
No date has been finalized as yet for Pryce's return from Philadelphia and it's also uncertain at this stage as to how long she will be out of action.
It's understood that she has already received a number of scholarship offers to attend college in the United States this summer.
