JA to face Colombia and Mexico in Olympic qualifiers

The Olympic dream of Jamaica's women basketball team hinges on a top-two finish in their FIBA Americas tournament group, which includes two former qualifiers.

Jamaica will start their bid at the tournament in Colombia against Mexico on September 25.

Brazil, who they play on September 26 and Canada, on the 28th, have played at previous Olympic Games.

Jamaica will also play Paraguay at the group stage of the ten-team tournament which qualifies the winner to the 2012 Olympic Games in London.

A top-two finish will gain in their group will earn Jamaica a place at the FIBA Olympic qualifier, which will feature other runner-up teams from around the world.
