Local football's governing body, the Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) is expressing sadness following the brutal slaying of well-known football administrator Brandon Murray who was shot dead at the Mayfair Hotel in St Andrew on Sunday.
Murray was well-known for his association with Sporting Central Academy in Clarendon and his efforts and contribution to building football fields and infrastructure in the country.
The JFF in a release on Monday afternoon, said Murray was very passionate about the game with the strong desire and wish for the betterment of the sport. The JFF described Murray as a warm, pleasant and respectful personality, hardly missing a football activity.
The JFF says it mourns with the rest of the football fraternity and the country as it lamented the loss of life in this way by anyone. The JFF also expressed the hope that Murray's family and close friends can find some comfort in the positive memories he has left behind.
