Voice of JFF vice-president in charge of finance Gary Sinclair

The Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) is faced with a deficit of over $265 million and vice- president responsible for finance Gary Sinclair says its one which they must turn around in the shortest possible time. After failing to audit the books of the JFF for some years, the board members were presented with audited financial reports for 2014, 2015 and 2016 at Saturday's special voting congress
where Michael Ricketts was elected new JFF president.

“We are ensuring that our financial administration is as pristine as we can make it. From a marketing and promotional and an overall commercial standpoint, we will have to improve there as well and we’re taking some steps in that direction,” noted Sinclair.

Sinclair says the JFF will have to ensure transparency in their accounting  so they can continue to access  available funding especially from international and regional football governing bodies.

We’ll be moving in that direction so that we can avail ourselves of all the governing bodies(FIFA and CONCACAF) subventions that are going to be available,” said Sinclair.
