General secretary of the Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) Dennis Chung has confirmed seeing a damming resignation letter from Marvin Tate that was sent to his ex-employers, the Kingston and St Andrew Football Association (KSAFA) which alleges that there are financial irregularities in the organization.
In a letter seen by Radio Jamaica Sports on Tuesday night, Tate announced his immediate resignation from the general secretary post at KSAFA and outlined five areas of concern within the body, two of which questioned the financial integrity of the association.
The letter was copied to Chung who told Radio Jamaica Sports that the allegations were not something the JFF would get involved with at this time.
When contacted on Tuesday night, KSAFA president Mark Bennett said he will seek legal advice.
Bennett told Radio Jamaica Sports that he actually requested Tate's resignation from December 20 last year on the basis on none performance. The KSAFA executive will meet on Thursday to decide on a new executive.
