Kieron Pollard injured


West Indians will be looking on with concern for Kieron Pollard who seemingly injured his finger on Wednesday in Mumbai Indians 7 wicket loss to Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian twenty20 premier league.
  

Pollard is among the probables for the squad to contest the ICC Champions trophy.
  

The injury occurred while Pollard was diving for a catch in the 17th over of Hyderabad's reply, and had to leave the field.
  

Mumbai were trying to defend 129 for 4, of which Pollard made 14 not out to support fellow West Indian Dwayne Smith with 38. Smith then went wicket-less for 15 runs from
one over against Hyderabad who achieved victory in8 overs at 130 for 3.
    

West Indies Captain Darren Sammy ended unbeaten on one.
