Former West Indies women's coach Courtney Walsh says the lack of red ball cricket for women, has played a part in the team's struggles in the ongoing World Cup qualifiers in Pakistan.
Speaking on Hitz 92 FM's Sports Grill recently, the legendary Jamaican expounded on this dilemma ahead the final game against Thailand on Saturday morning at 4:00 Jamaica time, with qualification control out of the West Indies hands.
In the meantime, Barbadian cricket commentator Joel Manning who is in Pakistan, said net run rate, as well as winning the toss and piling up a big total against Thailand could be key for the West Indies, despite qualification scenario difficulties of batting or bowling first.
