Several Jamaicans were in action at the Guadeloupe Grand Prix on Saturday.
Dexter Lee, the two time world junior champion, sped to a personal best 10.15 seconds to win the 100 metres with compatriot and Commonwealth Games champion Lerone Clarke in seventh in 10.36 seconds.
Samantha Henry ended third in the women's 200 metres after clocking 23.57 seconds behind American Rachelle Boon-Smith, who won in 23.47 seconds.
Clora Williams with 53 seconds flat also placed third in the women's 400 metres which was won by American Keshia Baker in 52.15 seconds.
Sheryl Morgan was sixth in 53.77 seconds.
Zara Northover was also a third place finisher throwing 16.94 metres in the women's shot put which was won by Cuba's Misleydis Gonzalez with a throw of 18.34 metres.
2008 Olympic finalist Richard Phillips was fifth in the men's 110 metres hurdles after clocking 13.60 seconds behind Olympic champion Cuba's Dayron Robles who clocked 13.35 seconds to win.
