Leford Green named NCAA Division Two Athlete of the Year

Johnson C. Smith University senior, Leford Green of Jamaica, has been named Division Two Atlantic Region Track Athlete of the Year by the US Track and Field and Cross Country Association for the NCAA Division Two indoor season.

Green has the fastest time over 400 metres of 47.03 seconds heading into the NCAA Division Two championships on March 11 and 12 in New Mexico.

The former Kingston College athlete is ranked number one over 400 metres in Division Two.
