The West Indies Cricket
Board (WICB) says it is doing everything it can to ensure the team performs
well at the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy in South Africa later this month.
The WICB has decided to stick with a second string team for the tournament despite cries to select the top players who have made themselves available.
Steven Camacho, Acting WICB Chief Executive Officer, says the team is being prepared to challenge in their group where they will meet the likes of Australia, India and Pakistan.
"We're given the entire team as much support as we can, we have a camp underway in Barbados and when they arrive in South Africa, they will go into another 10 day camp before the action begin so, we're doing everything to make sure the team is as prepared as it can be," he said.
