No result in Zouks versus Red Steel due to rain in CPLT20

Rain ruined a potentially explosive finish to match number-2 between St. Lucia Zouks and Trinidad & Tobago Red Steel in the Hero Caribbean Premier T20 Cricket League at the Beausojour Stadium in Gros Islet, St. Lucia.

The St. Lucia Zouks totalled an impressive 179-6 off their 20 overs, as former West Indies opener Andre Fletcher reprised his attacking role, striking  57 off 49 balls and England's Kevin Pietersen hit 42 off 26 balls against Jacques Kallis 2-31.

T&T Red Steel reached 10-0 off one over when the rain storm ended proceedings.

This leaves defending champions Barbados Tridents on top of the leage with 2 points, Zouks and Red Steel on 1 point each and Guyana Amazon Warriors without a point, all from 1 match each.

Match number-3 featuring champions Barbados Tridents against Jamaica Tallawahs at Kensington Oval takes place on Tuesday June 23, 2015 at 1700hrs or 5p.m. Jamaica time.
