The Jamaica Scorpions have added uncapped off-spinner Akim Fraser to their squad as they take on the Guyana Jaguars in their regional 4-day contest at Sabina Park starting on Thursday. After impressing domestically, UWI off-spinner Frazer is likely to be given his regional debut when the Scorpions take on the Jaguars.
The last match at Sabina Park was marked by a pitch controversy but by all indications, there should not be a repeat come Thursday. The Jaguars though should expect some hostile fast bowling on a wicket that is expected to offer much to the fast bowlers. But having not lost to the Scorpions for the past four seasons, the Jaguars are confident of following up from their win against the Jamaican franchise in the last round. The match is set to bowl off at 10:00 am on Thursday.
